The move

Wow it has been a while. Lots and lots have happened since I last posted so I will just start with some recent postings. We now live in Hawaii. Robs work transfered us out here and we have loved the sunshine and going to the beach. I do not love cockroaches and cane spiders but you can't have it all in paradise. Dawson is now taking Taekwondo and loves it. He is now a yellowbelt and it is amazing to see him do it everyweek. He is doing better in school. It was hard for him to adjust with a new school and new friends. He loves identifying all of the birds. We have a book for him to study all the species so he is learning all their names. He is getting better at swimming and he has gotten really good at his bike as well. He still loves his mystery machine and scooby doo. You can tell from the pic that he has glasses now. He is getting use to them. I think he is still so handsome.

Little miss Danika. She is almost 4 in september. she is quite her daddys princess. There are so many things about her that remind me of Rob. She LOVES hot wheels. She takes them everywhere and drives them all over the house and in the car. She sleeps with them sometimes. She loves to watch the celtics with Rob. She can't wait to start Taekwondo when she is 4. Eventhough she is in love with cars, she is a girly girl. she can name all the makeup I have and she loves to wear lip gloss and I keep finding my shoes all over the house. She loves to carry a purse and wear my shoes. She is a good helper and loves to follow me for whatever were doing. I think sometimes she is part fish. She is a little daredevil. We go swimming and she is jumping right in and thinks she is an excellent swimmer. There is no telling her no that she can't do something. I tell Rob the stubborness she gets from him.

Dawson's Graduation

Dawson graduated preschool in may. He was so excited because we had just got done with Rob's college graduation. It was at the park down the street. We packed a lunch and played with all the other kids in the class and then we had awards. Dawson was awarded the "our little encyclopedia" in the class. His teacher says he always had answers for everything. Sometimes it was more than they were looking for. They had a guy there doing ballon animals and stuff, so dawson got a sword. He made his own graduation cap too. He thought he was so special because he graduated just like his dad.

Funny, Funny

The other day dawson and I were walking out of his room and he noticed that the picture on the wall of Andre Dawson had his name on it. I explained that Rob and I had named him after him and he was also a famous baseball player. So Dawson being as elaborate as he is sometimes, says, " Mom, guess what, he plays baseball, and I am a golfer!" I was just laughing. Dawson mentions quite a bit his desire to someday be on television. He loves acting in front of people and being the center of attention. I love you Daws.

Danika Sue

This is our Danika Sue. She is almost 18 months old now. She is learning new things everyday. She has been in love with shoes for a while now. She wants to wear them all day. She brings them to me so I can put them on for her. She draggs out everyone else's too. She has also learned her ears, and the dogs outside. She loves to give hugs and blow kisses to everybody. She also loves it when I vacuum the house. Her and dawson run around the room laughing and try not to get caught by the vacuum. She loves giving her dad hugs and kisses everyday when he gets home. She will drop everything when she hears the garage door. She loves her books as well. She will read books all day. She loves music. Whenever it is on, she is dancing. She is a very happy, good girl. I couldn't imagine life without her.

I wanted to start out the new blog site with Dawson and his new found love of golf. I am sure a little has to do with his dad's obsession. Dawson will see his dad put on his golf hat and know what it means. He instantly wants to be out on the course. He has been a couple of times in the past couple of months. He has really enjoyed spending time with his dad and grandpa. Just about two weeks ago Rob and Robert had just gotten back from golfing and Dawson really wanted to go so Rob said ok and Dawson didn't want to go without grandpa so Dawson called grandpa and they went again. A little while ago we were going to Uinta Golf (local golf store) and they have a practice green inside the store with clubs and everything to use. Dawson didn't care if we were there or not, he just wanted to play golf. He was mad when we went to leave. He said, "I just want to stay and play golf." He is so in love with his dad. He wants to do everything he does. He said to me the other day, I can't wear my hat because it is my golf hat. I laughed. He is so adorable. I love my dawson so much.
